Dangers of Vaping – Are They Much like Conventional Cigarettes?
The medical dangers of vaping aren’t known at all. Only a very small number of folks who openly admit to vaporing cannabis are actually doing it for medicinal reasons, and there are practically no studies to support the theory that vaporizing cannabis is any longer or less safe than smoking cigarettes. Smoking cannabis can be bad for your health. But it is not clear how much worse it’s going to be weighed against puffing tobacco.
A very important factor is certain: Vaping cannabis carries in the same way many dangers as smoking it. Just about everybody who starts vaporizing cannabis is likely to eventually end up lighting up a cigarette somewhere else. The electronic smoking devices used to do this are, more often than not, incredibly dangerous. In fact, they’re probably even more dangerous than smoking tobacco.
Electric cigarettes contain a variety of dangerous chemicals that have absolutely nothing to do with either smoking cannabis or smoking tobacco. In this study, lead author Dr. Robin Carhart evaluated the effects of two different forms of cannabis in the body on test subjects. One group of subjects repeatedly smoked cannabis over two days, while another group only used on Cigs. After two days, the test subjects who had smoked cannabis significantly increased their blood pressure levels, had an increased heart rate, and suffered from more serious headaches.
The dangers of Vaporizing cannabis aren’t just limited by those who are using it recreationally either. Children are now showing a heightened interest in trying Vaporized cannabis aswell, according to a report published in-may 2021 in the peer-reviewed Journal of Adolescent Health. This study was done by the National Institute of Mental Health, that is a government agency within the US Department of Education. Researchers examined the smoking behaviors of twenty-three children, including ten who smoked cigarettes regularly and fifteen who did not smoke at all. It had been found that even children who were only occasional marijuana smokers were willing to try vaporizing cannabis. Interestingly, this study didn’t consider the long-term effects of E-Cigs on these children’s long-term smoking habits, only their short-term ones.
Overall, it would appear that the dangers of E-Cigs are pretty much exactly what one would expect from combustible using tobacco. The only difference is that rather than inhaling toxic gases, smoke is established in an E-Cig, instead of blowing out of a traditional cigarette. The biggest dangers of E-Cigs are from vaporizing toxins in your lungs instead of from actual combustion. Even in this case, though, the dangers of E-Cigs remain considerably significantly less than cigarettes, especially considering that teens have already demonstrated a massive interest in tinkering with vaporized foods, candy, and chocolate.
